Pack A: Live the new life

Good afternoon! I hope that y'all are having a good week so far. Well, its time to begin. This course is based off of the Navigators scripture memorization.
So, Pack one is called "live the new life." And I believe that it is properly named.
There is twelve Scripture passages, which have categories like "Christ the Center," "Obedience to Christ," and so on. So, for this week there is two verses to learn under category "Christ the Center." Good luck! And God bless!

Good after noon! I do hope that all of you are doing well? In this post, I hope to encourage you to know the Bible a lot better. I have been (with my family) been taking this Scripture memorizing course. It has been...difficult. It requires study, and putting aside your other interests. Something I have struggled with. So, in other words, I challenge y'all to keep a copy of the Bible in you head. This scripture memorizing is also a great for telling other people about the Kingdom of God!
We shall start next week. Please do this...it is very important. If you want to do this, leave a comment so I know who will be doing it.

I believe that I should give you an update of what has been going on.

Well in April me and dad got Honey bees from a fellow in Surrey county!

And we got a super of Sour wood honey! Very tasty! :) But through the weeks it's just been the normal work around the house. Also just for your information me and my friends are starting the RP again, and have fixed up everything a hole lot better. A bigger story line...and more action. Oh, and the family has new dog, Dillon. A half breed of a great Pyrenees. He is very sweet, and will follow every where. And some times it can get very annoying.:) I have been mostly every day t the name been bike riding. The bike brand is Jamis (I think I got the name right.)

It's been a nice work out. I usually ride to the gas station down the road and stop to get a drink. *snicker*

The Lord has been very good to us. And I am trying to strengthen my relationship with Him. I believe If you just get up in the mornings and the the book of God, pray and follow it your day will be fine. I have been trying to live to that principle...but...oversleeping has been raging a terrible war.:) But anyway we just can't give up can we?

Well, I am sure that the girls would want more detail but since I am a guy

I usually don't give big details.:) This is just an over view.

The dog is a wonderful creature that God has made. The dog is truly "Mans best friend." And to me, no family is complete without one.:)

I plan (Lord willing) to have two Plott Hounds, male and female. Have some puppies...keep one, and have one Jack Russell Terrier for inside the house. I know, I'm rambling... I reckon I'll quit.:)

But like I said, Life ain't complete without a dog.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Please forgive me for not posting in ages. I have not been faithful to post about important things, seeing how everybody has been, and most importantly...not putting the impression of a true Christan. I do ask for your forgiveness. But that is about to change...I will post often about the important stuff, and about Jesus! Now I know that the blogger girls post fifty things a day and I only post one thing a month give me a break, I'm a boy and I don't have much to say...no hard feelings girls.:) Just kidding. Psalm 111 is very encouraging to me.
At verse 10, "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever."
If you fear the Lord with all your heart, you are smarter the 1 million people with Ph.D. and that is a fact. I pray that all of us, (including me) would have a greater fear for the Lord God almighty.

I am a son of a Confederate veteran.

I am now am know the son of a Confederate veteran.
I feel so proud to have heritage of honor. My great great great grandfather, Aaron, was in the North Carolina 52nd Regiment, and in Company F. He was at least wounded 2-3 times in the war. I would tell you more but my time is up. I just thought that I would tell y'all.

Well, I am tired of the snow. Some of you think that I am crazy...but I am tired of it.
I miss spring. The bike rides to the gas station which is about 2 miles away: The nice calm green days: The wind blowing in the trees: And the wonderful days of Nerf battles.:)
Oh, and speaking of Nerf battles, I forgot to say the deadline of the "Nerf commando picture taking contest." It will end on March the 1st.
Well, I can't believe that it is 2010...already! God has blessed us wonderfully. Anyway, I got to go.

A new Bible reading schedule

Well I have found a good bible reading Bible reading schedule.
It's been great! I am in Genesis. I think that Genesis is my favorite book in the Bible. It deals with four major events which as Ken Ham my favorite creationist says the Seven C's. Genesis deals with Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, and Confusion. I get up in the mornings at 6:00, (If my stupid alarm will go off) Get dressed, make up the bed, then read the Bible and pray. I have learned great value in my Bible reading...I hope you will too.

Well I am back from the Father Son Retreat. It was so awesome!And I hope that I and my dad can go again next year.I am blessed that me and dad can go to these retreats.Unfortunately I do not have any pictures.:(My camera died.Alright I have to do two posts to do and I am running out of time so I will have to make it quick .

Today is September 11th.
The September 11 attacks (often referred to as September 11th or 9/11) were a series of coordinated suicide attacks by Al-Qaeda upon the United States on September 11, 2001. On that morning, 19 Al-Qaeda terrorists hijacked four commercial passenger jet airliners.^[1]^[2] The hijackers intentionally crashed two of the airliners into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, killing everyone on board and many others working in the buildings. Both buildings collapsed within two hours, destroying nearby buildings and damaging others. The hijackers crashed a third airliner into the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, just outside of Washington, D.C. The fourth plane crashed into a field near Shanksville in rural Pennsylvania, after some of its passengers and flight crew attempted to retake control of the plane, which the hijackers had redirected toward Washington, D.C. There were no survivors from any of the flights.

In total 2,993 people, including the hijackers, died in the attacks.^[3]^[4] The overwhelming majority of casualties were civilians, including nationals of over 90 countries. In addition, the death of at least one person from lung disease was ruled by a medical examiner to be a result of exposure to dust from the World Trade Center's collapse.^[5] The United States responded to the attacks by launching a "War on Terrorism", invading Afghanistan to depose the Taliban, who had harbored al-Qaeda terrorists, and enacting the USA PATRIOT Act. Many other countries also strengthened their anti-terrorism legislation and expanded law enforcement powers. Some American stock exchanges stayed closed for the rest of the week following the attack, and posted enormous losses upon reopening, especially in the airline and insurance industries. The destruction of billions of dollars worth of office space caused serious damage to the economy of Lower Manhattan.

The damage to the Pentagon was cleared and repaired within a year, and the Pentagon Memorial was built on the site. The rebuilding process has started on the World Trade Center site. In 2006 a new office tower was completed on the site of 7 World Trade Center. The 1 World Trade Center is currently under construction at the site and at 1,776 ft (541 m) upon completion in 2011, will become one of the tallest buildings in North America. Three more towers were originally expected to be built between 2007 and 2012 on the site.

On June 22, 1941, Germany, along with other European Axis members and Finland, invaded the Soviet Union in Operation Barbarossa. The primary targets of this surprise offensive were the Baltic region, Moscow and Ukraine, with an ultimate goal of ending the 1941 campaign near the A-A line, the line connecting the Caspian and White Seas. Hitler's objectives were to eliminate the Soviet Union as a military power, exterminate Communism, generate so-called 'living space'[88] by dispossessing the native population[89] and guarantee access to the strategic resources needed to defeat Germany's remaining rivals.[90] Although before the war the Red Army was preparing for strategic counter-offensives,[91] Barbarossa forced the Soviet supreme command to adopt a strategic defence. During the summer, the Axis made significant gains into Soviet territory, inflicting immense losses in personnel and matériel. However, by the middle of August, the German Army High Command decided to suspend the offensive of a considerably depleted Army Group Center, and to divert the Second Panzer Group to reinforce troops advancing toward central Ukraine and Leningrad. The Kiev offensive was overwhelmingly successful, resulting in encirclement and elimination of four Soviet armies, and made further advance into Crimea and industrially developed Eastern Ukraine (the First Battle of Kharkov) possible.

The diversion of three quarters of the Axis troops and the majority of their air forces from France and the central Mediterranean to the Eastern Front prompted the United Kingdom to reconsider its grand strategy. In July, the UK and the Soviet Union formed a military alliance against Germany and shortly after jointly invaded Iran to secure the Persian Corridor and Iran's oilfields. In August, the United Kingdom and the United States jointly issued the Atlantic Charter.
By October, when Axis operational objectives in Ukraine and the Baltic region were achieved, with only the sieges of Leningrad[99] and Sevastopol continuing, a major offensive against Moscow had been renewed. After two months of fierce battles, the German army almost reached the outer suburbs of Moscow, where the exhausted troops were forced to suspend their offensive. Despite impressive territorial gains, the Axis campaign had failed to achieve its main objectives: two key cities remained in Soviet hands, the Soviet capability to resist was not broken, and the Soviet Union retained a considerable part of its military potential. The blitzkrieg phase of WWII in Europe had ended.
By early December, freshly mobilized reserves allowed the Soviets to achieve numerical parity with Axis troops. This, as well as intelligence data that established a minimal number of Soviet troops in the East sufficient to prevent any attack by the Japanese Kwantung Army,[ allowed the Soviets to begin a massive counter-offensive that started on December 5 along a 1000 km front and pushed German troops 100–250 km west.

Japan had seized military control of southern Indochina the previous year, partly to increase pressure on China by blocking supply routes, but also to better position Japanese forces in the event of a war with the western powers. Japan, hoping to capitalize on Germany's success in Europe, made several demands, including a steady supply of oil, of the Dutch East Indies; these attempts, however, broke down in June 1941. The United States, United Kingdom and other western governments reacted to the seizure of Indochina with a freeze on Japanese assets, while the United States (which supplied 80% of Japan's oil) responded by placing a complete oil embargo. Thus Japan was essentially forced to choose between abandoning its ambitions in Asia and the prosecution of the war against China, or seizing the natural resources it needed by force; the Japanese military did not consider the former an option, and many officers considered the oil embargo an unspoken declaration of war. Japanese Imperial General Headquarters thus planned to rapidly seize European colonies in Asia to create a large defensive perimeter stretching into the Central Pacific; the Japanese would then be free to exploit the resources of Southeast Asia while exhausting the over-stretched Allies by fighting a defensive war. To prevent American intervention while securing the perimeter it was further planned to neutralize the United States Pacific Fleet from the outset.On December 7 (December 8 in Asian time zones), 1941, Japan attacked British, Dutch and American holdings with near simultaneous offensives against Southeast Asia and the Central Pacific.[114] These included an attack on the American fleet at Pearl Harbor and landings in Thailand and Malaya.These attacks prompted the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, other western Allies and China (already fighting the Second Sino-Japanese War), to formally declare war on Japan. Germany and the other members of the Tripartite Pact responded by declaring war on the United States. In January, the United States, United Kingdom, Soviet Union, China and twenty-two smaller or exiled governments issued the Declaration by United Nations which affirmed the Atlantic Charter The Soviet Union did not adhere to the declaration, maintained a neutrality agreement with Japan and exempted itself from the principle of self-determination.Meanwhile, by the end of April 1942, Japan had almost fully conquered Burma, the Philippines, Malaya, the Dutch East Indies, Singapore,[118] and the key base of Rabaul, inflicting severe losses on Allied troops and taking a large number of prisoners. Japanese forces also achieved naval victories in the South China Sea, Java Sea and Indian Ocean and bombed the Allied naval base at Darwin, Australia. The only real Allied success against Japan was a victory at Changsha in early January, 1942. These easy victories over unprepared opponents left Japan severely overconfident, as well as overextended.[citation needed]
Germany retained the initiative as well. Exploiting dubious American naval command decisions, the German navy ravaged Allied shipping off the American Atlantic coast.Despite considerable losses, European Axis members stopped a major Soviet offensive in Central and Southern Russia, keeping most territorial gains they achieved during the previous year. In North Africa, the Germans launched an offensive in January, pushing the British back to positions at the Gazala Line by early February] followed by a temporary lull in combat which Germany used to prepare for their upcoming offensives.

Well I hope that all of you are having a good weekend.
Just this past week my family and I went to the Family Bible Conference.It was great...especially the Nerf battle.:) It was awesome! I wish that I took my camera into battle.If you have never heard or seeing a Nerf battle...you will love it!:D

Just this past Thursday I was doing a Nerf sniper mission at my house. My outfit was so cool, if you were in the woods you could not see me for my uniform...which I am not going to tell.:) Oh, like I said if you have not heard or seeing a Nerf battle, at the bottom of the post is some Nerf videos and pictures that I put up, I think that you will like them.:) at the right, here is a Nerf gun modified that I wish that I could have.:D

Me and my family have been working for a long time.And I have not been able to post.l:(But what stinks is that I need to get of now.But anyway,it's good to be back!

What if...

Just today as I was doing testing, I thought...what if the Nazis won the war.What if the Japanese took Midway and Pearl Harbor.What if England fell to the Nazis...what if the U.S. was taken.That is why this post is called "What if " For one thing the freedom that we have as Christians...would be gone. I know that this world is in a mess,but thank God that we are not looking up to the Nazi rulers...but it really does seem like we are sinking into socialism.

But we are not under Obama, nor the mighty kings of the earth,But who?Who do we serve? only one...God! And another thought is what if World War 3 broke out? All I can say is that what I am carrying into battle is my Bible, my gun, and my ammo. And the only way that my enemies can take my gun out of my hand is to pry my could dead fingers from the trigger.

The only thing that we need to do in war is to stand firm,prepare,and trust in the Lord and move out!!!

A e-mail from my dad and other things

I am sorry that I have not posted in a while. I guess that I just didn't have what I wanted to post.:) Just a few days back my dad gave me a chapter to read in my Bible. The chapter was Romans 6, he said"I would like for each of you to slowly and carefully
read this daily for a month.Every time you read it,God will open more and more of it to you." So I did, it was great! I encourage every one of you to read it, it's awesome!

Some time this weekend I and my sister will be doing another short movie called, "Vietnam war: ambushed" Hopefully we can do it tomorrow,but I not sure.But if we do it, try to get to my blog.:)

Homemade WWII Movie

Yesterday, my sister and I went outside to some woods a little ways down the road and made a WWII video entitled "Battle in the Dead Woods". Earlier on, I had gotten on Youtube and looked up "Battle sounds". I recorded on our tape recorder gunshots/explosions/yelling etc. Well, we went out into the woods and my sister, Hannah, filmed it while balancing the camera ON the tape recorder near the speaker to catch the noise. It worked out really well.
Since I was the only "actor", I am wearing a mask when playing the Germans, and don't have a mask when playing the Americans. Also, when playing the Germans, I'm supposedly "speaking German"...which I'm NOT!:)

The battle at the river did not turn out very well...but it was good for a first try.:)

Australia's last World War I Soldier Dies

CANBERRA (Reuters Life!) – The last remaining Australian to serve in World War One has died at the age of 110, Veterans' Affairs Minister Alan Griffin said on Wednesday.

John "Jack" Ross, who was also Australia's oldest man having turned 110 in March, died in his sleep early Wednesday morning at a nursing home in Bendigo in the state of Victoria.

Ross was 18 when he enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force in January 1918 and trained at the wireless training school, but the war ended nine months later and before he could be posted overseas. He was discharged on Christmas Eve that year.

"Mr. Ross showed his willingness to serve Australia and her allies in what was an extremely tumultuous time in our history, and for that we are grateful," said Griffin in a statement.

"While he did not travel overseas, he completed his training, ready for deployment."

Griffin said Ross was the last of 417,000 Australians who served in World War One and one of only a handful of remaining veterans from that war.

Ross served Australia again in World War Two as a member of the Volunteer Defense Corps. As a civilian, he worked for the Victorian railways before retiring in 1964.

"It now falls to Australians everywhere to ensure that veterans memory is kept alive. We must ensure that their contribution to Australia's wartime history is passed on to future generations, so that their sacrifice is never forgotten," said Griffin.

Back from Vacation!

Well I have had a GREAT time! The Home School Conference was great! The hotel had an awesome swimming pool, we went lots of times to the pool. What is amazing is that nobody was there.:) We had a great time...as always.
The HSC lasted three days. There were great speakers, and heart to heart speeches.

After that we went to Scott Brown's Farm for the Memorial Day picnic. We arrived in Wake Forest on Saturday, and stayed there 'till Monday. We went to Mr Brown's church and he gave a great sermon. Then Monday was awesome! As I was walking to and fro, there was a boy there named Steve. He and some of his friends were selling soft drinks. Then I thought, "why don't I ask him if I can work for him today?" So I came over and asked him if I could help, and he said yes.:D For some reason that made my day great. I enjoy just handing out drinks, taking in the bucks,and putting it into the box. And I hope that next year I can work for him again. Thanks a lot Steve!:) But in the middle of the day rain started to pour down. my friends and I ran under the table...and still got really wet. But other than that the Memorial Day picnic was a God honoring day. Mr Phillips and some of his family were there, along with some World War II veterans, and a police officer from Raleigh was also there with his police dog; a German Shepard. He showed us specialties of the police dogs. Oh, and to the right are Steve and his little brother, and one of his friends. And also I got to see some of my other friends, Silas, the tall one, and his brother John Luke. And I also had my picture taken with Joshua Phillips.

All in all I had a great time!!! :D

Well I must be going.
And it's good to be back to the blogger world.:)

On Vacation!

Tomorrow I and my family will be going on vacation.:D We will not be back till
next week, on Monday evening. The place were we are going is Winston-Salem at the Home School Conference,I am really looking forward to it! And I am thankful that the Lord has let my family to go to the HSC ( Home School Conference.) It is all ways fun to go, and all of us have a great time.:) So I will not be able to post comment's until next week...unless my dad let's me get on his computer.:)

When I look back on those days....

Well I feel a lot better now, and have had plenty of sleep:) The Lord has blessed me and my family through the years. My family and I have lived in North Carolina for nine years now, and it's great here in the mountains! Beautiful, too. :D Well I think I will let you peek into my childhood...this should be interesting.:) When I was little, maybe four years-old, I would tell my family that when I was in Mom's tummy, I would go shopping, go "into my room" and sleep, play, drive around in my "car" and so on and so forth when I was yet UNBORN!!!! (silly, eh?:) I remember how I used to say that all the war movies I saw were real...until my dad said "no, son, they're not"...I got SO MAD!:P But, life went on; I grew up, inch by inch, and foot by foot. I was a guy who loved World War II: endless hours at "Japan" and "Normandy"...places all over the world. I had a lot of fun.:D And once again life went on. I loved to play Playmobil, (that is a toy) GI Joe, World War II, and so on and so forth. But then...then I met the computer!:) I loved to play the game Army Men Sarge's Heros, and other games. But also God meant more to me. But that life was fun. And now I turn around and in my teen's, life some times can just fly so fast! First your one year-old...then you're in your teen's. But the Lord has brought me through so much, and I thank Him for that.:)

So that is a peek in my childhood.
And once again I thank the Lord God, for what he has done for me.

Well I am very...very...very sleepy today. I must be getting old.:) I have a good night's sleep, but I wake up so very sleepy.:( Every morning I wake up by a stupid alarm clock, I walk over to it, click off...and right to bed. Young men...Be careful

This post is not for children at 11 and under, For children 11 and under please exit out of this blog. Thank you.

This post "Young men...Be careful" is about how we young people must keep our eyes safe from the trash out in this World. Now the two things that we men have a problem with is Fear and Lust. Satan will never stop hammering us on the head. But when he does,
we need to call on the Lord God.

1.The Internet.

The Internet is a great hole full of temptations. we young men must be careful of
Google images, Youtube, etc, etc. the Lord God told us to watch out for temptations like in John 17:15-21.

¹⁵"I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one.

¹⁶"They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

¹⁷"Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.

¹⁸"As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.

¹⁹"For their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth.

²⁰"I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word;

²¹that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us,so that the world may believe that You sent Me.

2.How the Lord made us.

The Lord God made us in the beginning that men would be attracted to women, and women would be attracted to men. But some times men look for the wrong attractions.

25 Do not lust in your heart after her beauty
or let her captivate you with her eyes,

²⁶ for the prostitute reduces you to a loaf of bread,
and the adulteress preys upon your very life.

Probverbs 6:25

We all have struggles like this and when we do, talk to your Dad and both of you pray to the LORD. Let us be on our guard for the enemy is out to destroy you and I!

Well I did not get a Turkey.:( Me and my dad walked and waited, and walked and waited, and walked and waited! And no Turkey. But then just about when we left...behold...Turkeys!! So then we went back to the woods. then we waited for them a little while. But they never came:(
But I am grateful that the Lord kept me and my dad safe. But other than that it was fun!:)

The Lord has come!!!

Here I am, in this place; where darkness hides its hideous face.
Satan has tempted me in this cell; aye, yet he would have led me down to Hell.
But look! Behold! A light shines in this grim room, it shines as the sun-
it will save me from doom.
But there! Look!...The Heavens open wide! I see Him, and I want to hide.
He charges upon a white horse down, The King of Kings And the Lord of Lords!
He wears the mighty crown!
All of mine enemies flee before Him, yet His chosen, He adores them.
I fell to the ground, mine eyes flowing with tears, and with His strong hand, he raised mine weary head; His words were soft yet firm, He said that I might learn: "Why dost thou weep, Mine faithful and beloved sheep?"
I dare not raise mine head in His Place as I spoke, humbled by His grace.

SUNDAY I WAS HAVING
A FIERCE BATTLE, NOT PHYSICAL, BUT SPIRITUAL.
THE DEVIL WAS ATTACKING ME WITH FEAR.
PUTTING DOUBTS IN MY MIND, ABOUT "GOD IS NOT WITH YOU."

FOR WEEKS HE ATTACKED ME.
THEN I STARTED TO HAVE MORE DOUBTS, THEN IT WAS TIME TO CALL MY DAD FOR SPIRITUAL GUIDANCE. (I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT I AM SO BLESSED TO HAVE A DAD THAT GIVES ME HELP!) DAD GAVE ME SOME BIBLE VERSES ABOUT
FEAR. ONE OF THEM IS...ISAIAH 41:10 PLEASE LOOK AT IT.
THEY GAVE ME SO MUCH COMFORT.

SUNDAY THE FINAL DAY OF BATTLE,
DAD HAD TO GO TO GEORGIA TO RECORD FOR PRESBYTERY.
THAT DAY THE DEVIL WAS ATTACKING ME WITH ALL OF HIS FORCE.
BUT...WHEN THE BATTLE WAS RAGING,
MOM AND I PRAYED.
THEN I STARTED TO PRAY,
AS I PRAYED HARDER... AND HARDER,
GOD ANSWERED MY PRAYER. THE DEVIL WAS DEFEATED.
I WAS AND STILL AM GRATEFUL TO
GOD ALMIGHTY.

THE VICTORY IS NOT TO ME, BUT TO HIM.

Gods and Generals is a great movie-taking place in the Civil War.
I would highly recommend this movie!
It sticks to the story and is very realistic. The effects are great and it
is Christian based.
